The 25km route is designed as an enjoyable grade 2-3 route with gentle climbs but is still a challenging distance. Suitable for most mountain bikes and e-bikes. 

The 50km Grade 3 Whaka has the pick of the Redwoods Grade 3 tracks. Fantastic fun, this will have you grinning from ear to ear. Sure, there is some climbing but with descents like Te Poaka, Titokorangi and Split Enz, you'll soon forget about that.

Designed for Pete Marshall, the "cruisey" 50km Whaka is cruisey for the first 20 minutes. Then K2 gives a glimpse of what follows - a mix of steep climbs, swooping decents and back country grade 4/5. This will be a tough ride.
